IMPORTANT
The awards ceremony for the Gravelón will take place Saturday, May 17th at 5 pm. in the Railyard Park. Awards for Gran/Medio Fondos will start at 2:00 pm Sunday in the Railyard Park. Riders must be present to claim prizes, no exceptions!
The Courses ( Saturday )
All rides start at 9am at the Gravel Venue, https://goo.gl/maps/Zk6mNxogf7hJgvZE6 and finish at the top of the climb, the intersection of Ojo de la Vaca Rd and 51c. All routes are carefully marked with signs along the entire distance. All rides start and finish in the Santa Fe Railyard Park (740 Cerrillos Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87501). All routes are carefully marked with signs along the entire distance. Gran Fondo and Medio Fondo ( Sunday )
Reminder: The finish line for the Gran Fondo and Medio Fondo (timing chip) is different from the Century and Half Century. The address for the finish line is 66 Two Trails Rd.
Safety
Helmets meeting CPSC standards are mandatory. For your safety, no aero bars or any other forward pointing handlebar extensions will be allowed on either of the timed rides (Medio Fondo and Gran Fondo).
There will be SAG support out on the course in the event a rider encounters a problem in between rest stops. Please be courteous to local traffic and drivers. New Mexico State law allows riders to ride two abreast. Please use common sense and be safe! We recommend riding single file in traffic.
In case of injury, medical assistance is available from the fire districts along the routes. If it is a medical emergency, dial 911. We will be periodically monitoring our email, ride@santafecentury.com, for those who need to communicate with us during the ride. However, be aware that there are areas along the route that do not have cell phone service.

They are located at State Road 14 (Turquoise Trail Fire Station), Heartbreak Hill, Cedar Grove, Stanley, Galisteo, and Eldorado.

Tandem Riders
Tandem riders are welcome. Each rider must register separately to receive their own bib number.
Clothing and equipment
Each year we welcome over 2,000 riders from around the United States and the globe. Santa Fe is at an altitude of 7,000 feet and typically the weather is cool in the morning, warming up quickly as the sun climbs in the sky. Dressing in layers that can be shed and having a lightweight windbreaker is essential. Each rider must come prepared with large water bottles, spare tube & patch kit, pump, tire changing tools, sunscreen and lip-balm. The route is rural and the few stores along the route may not be open.
Parking
Parking is available at the following locations:
Friday May 16th and Saturday, May 17th
- For on-site packet pick-up/registration, pre-order merchandise, and the vintage bike show, there is paid parking in the Railyard on Camino de la Familia, and the Railyard parking garage. More info about parking in the Railyard is available at www.railyardsantafe.com/north-railyard/.
- Number Pick-up/Registration at Gravel Route venue, merchandise pickup will be at the community room in the Railyard, 740 Cerrillos Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87505
Sunday, May 18th
- 0.7 miles from the start/finish line at the Joseph M. Montoya and Harold L. Runnels buildings parking lots. The parking lots are located between Cordova Rd. and Alta Vista St. near the South Capitol Rail Runner station. Parking is free for participants. The Rail Trail runs along the west side of the parking lot and ends in the Railyard.
- 0.7 miles from the start/finish in the Capitol Lot east of the Round House and east of Old Santa Fe Trail. Parking is free for participants.
- There is also LIMITED parking in the Railyard on Camino de la Famliia and paid parking in the Railyard parking garage.
Merchandise
The Century offers great looking jerseys, socks and t-shirts. This year’s models can be seen in our our Store. Order apparel by March 17th to guarantee availability. Though a limited quantity may be available for purchase after March 17th and at the venue, we do sell out.
Altitude
Santa Fe is at 7,000 feet. That is a mile and a half above sea level! If you live at sea level or a significantly lower elevation, please allow a couple of days, if possible, for your body to adjust to the high altitude. Also, in the Spring we can have 30-40 degree temperature swings from the early morning to mid-afternoon. Visitors need to drink more water than usual to stay hydrated
